Liv Aira is a dance artist and choreographer with a Bachelor’s degree in Dance and a Master’s degree in Choreography.
She has a passion for producing dance performances that create an emotional connection between audiences and dancers, where themes from Sápmi are often highlighted in her projects. Liv has also worked as a dance teacher for over 15 years, working with both children and adults, with the aim of creating joy through dance.
In 2024, Liv founded Jillat, a Sámi dance centre in Vuollerim, which is a place for contemporary art to be created and where Indigenous peoples and minorities in society are especially welcome.
Agnes Nilsson Svakko

Dance educator, Jokkmokk
Agnes Nilsson Svakko / Svakko Edita Márja Agnes was born and raised in Skellefteå and has her roots in Girjas. Her passion for dance grew at the Skellefteå Dance and Ballet Association, where she began dancing as a child. After studying dance at upper secondary school in Skellefteå, she continued her dance education at the dance programme at Lunnevad Folk High School in Linköping.
In the autumn of 2022, she moved to Stockholm to study at the Stockholm University of the Arts. She completed her studies in June 2025 and now holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Pedagogy.
